Can your team be World Champs?

 Prove it!




In July, 2013, your team may have the chance to challenge the top European academy teams like Manchester United, Ajax, Arsenal, Chelsea, Spurs and Fulham for the inaugural World Youth Soccer Championship.

  • Played on pristine fields in the southeast of England, the World Championship will kick off July 22 with the finals played July 28.
  • The event will be divided into brackets of four or five teams, with American team guaranteed at least four games. 
  • Each bracket will include at least one European Academy team
  • Teams from the USA will be seeded according to their GotSoccer Rankings points
  • Three points will be awarded for each win, one point for a draw. 
  • In the case of equal points, the first tie breaker will be head-to-head followed by most goals scored. 
  • Each age-group will have a semi-final and final game. 
  • Trophies and medals will be awarded to the champions and finalists in each age-group. 
  • Teams not advancing to the play-off group will be entered into a Plate competition.  Trophies and medals will be awarded to all Plate champions and finalists. 
  • An award ceremony will take place at the end of the event
  • Each game will have a referee and two assistant referees. A fourth assistant will be available for all play-off games.
